2 wanted in Clayton crime spree

Clayton police need help in tracking down two suspects wanted in a series of break-ins around the town.

Police said since October, two men have broken into five homes and stolen TVs, computers, video game systems, jewelry, and other valuables.

Now, police are searching for 19-year-old Kweisi Saku McDougal Garland and 34-year-old Lawrence Gregory Hunter, both of Clayton.

They are both charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, and obtaining property by false pretenses.

The break-ins happened:

  • Hinton Street - Oct. 20
  • Cove Circle - Nov. 8
  • Two homes on Cheltenham Drive - Nov. 12
  • Matthews Circle - Nov. 14
