(07/27/07 -- RALEIGH) (WTVD) -- The family of a murdered Wake County pregnant woman is returning to the scene of the crime. This time Jenna Nielsen's family wants the families of other recent murder victims to join them.
Jenna Nielsen's family plans to hold a vigil Sunday, not only to honor her, but to also remember the other five people killed in the same month of June.
There have been six violent deaths in Raleigh in 28 days (between June 3 and July 1) and the family of one of those killed - pregnant mother of two, Jenna Nielsen - plans to hold a vigil Sunday honoring them all.
Jenna's family is working hard to keep her case public. They distributed fliers and held a benefit concert in her honor. Now, they're hoping a vigil will help raise awareness to her case and five other murders.
Tyrone Covington is among those remembered he was shot outside Black Ties nightclub. Veronica Malone was also killed - run over and beaten with a hammer allegedly by her ex-girlfriend Victoria Goode, and Pascual Xolo will also be honored. Xolo was found dead behind a Raleigh convenience store.
The vigil honor all six murder victims will be held at the Exxon on Lake Wheeler Road at 4 p.m. Sunday - the place where Jenna Nielsen was killed.
