I am happy to be working in my hometown!

It's great to get my start in a place I've always called home. I joined 13ABC in February 2007 as the weekend assignment editor. Back in July, I switched over to nights as the assignment editor. Basically, I monitor what's going on throughout our viewing area and make sure we cover it so you as viewers can stay informed. I also spend part of my time reporting. You can find me bringing you the latest information from our Alert Center on 13ABC Action News at 11pm.

I grew up in South Toledo while making my way through the Toledo Public School system. I'm proud to be a Bowsher High School graduate! For college, I headed south to Bowling Green State University. I graduated in May 2007, with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a minor in political science.

While in college, I had the chance to work with tons of talented people at the campus news station BG24 News. I worked behind the scenes as a producer and on-camera as a reporter and anchor. I interned at WBGU, the local PBS station, as a public relations assistant. It later became my first paid journalism job, where I learned how many people it really takes to run a successful news station.

Now I consider myself one of the lucky. I am pursuing my career goals at a station I watched as a kid, wishing I could someday work there and now I do! Each day is unpredictable and that's what I love about working in news! It's an honor to work with so many talented people.

In my free time I love being outside, spending time with my friends and family, and traveling as much as possible. Currently, I'm working on becoming fluent in Spanish and recently started learning ballet. I also love meeting new people and telling your stories.
