Salvation Army kettle recovered, suspicious overnight fire, Nevaeh Buchanan fundraiser, new Toledo trash cans...

Another H1N1 vaccine clinic for Toledo Public Schools was held today. This time, so many people showed up at Bowsher High School that health officials had to make a run for more vaccines. More people showed up for today's clinic than all clinics from last weekend and yesterday's combined.

Last night, we brought you the story that a man had pushed a Salvation Army worker and stolen a kettle full of money at the Andersons in Maumee. Police say the man then took off in a stolen black pick-up truck. That truck was later recovered. Today, we learned that the stolen kettle was also recovered here in Toledo. However, the lock was broken off and no money was inside.The search for the suspect continues.

Toledo firefighters are looking into what sparked a suspicious fire overnight in the 3300 block of Glenwood near Highland. Fire crews say the homeowner moved out a week ago so the structure was not occupied at the time. $40,000 worth of damage was done.

Despite the slow economy, a pair of northwest Ohio companies say their products are high in demand. Perrysburg-based First Solar says it has enough business to keep its plant at full productions through the next five years. First Solar says they're responsible for most of the solar panels going up in the southern and western U.S. In the meantime, Toledo-based Xunlight says it expects to be at full production by the second half of 2010.

The city's first wave of new trash cans gets delivered this week. The trash cans start going out Tuesday to random neighborhoods all over Toledo. Right now the trash and recycling bins are being assembled in a warehouse on Detroit Avenue. The city will drop the cans off outside your home in the spot they hope you will leave them once automation starts. Automation begins the week of December 7th. It's still a mystery as to what happened to little Nevaeh Buchanan. The girl was last seen alive at her Monroe, Michigan apartment complex more than six months ago. Her body was found along the River Raisin more than a week later. No arrests have been made in the case. Today, a spaghetti dinner fundraiser was held in Nevaeh's honor. Money raised at today's event will help feed families in the Monroe-area this holiday season.

It was one year ago to the date that David Martin was killed in a murder-suicide at a home on Alexis Road. Today, friends and family came together to celebrate and honor Martin's life at a gathering at Buffalo Wild Wings on Central Avenue.
