People, places and things

Friday, October 05, 2007

Tonight on people, places and things we introduce you to a couple of moms who are about to open one sweet business. The cupcakes are the business idea baked up by Lori Jacobs and Dana Iliev. The two moms spotted a trend in New York and L.A. for cupcake stores. So they are bringing the idea to Toledo. Their cupcake place is called Cake In A Cup, which is opening soon. The two mom entrepreneurs will serve up gourmet cupcakes with names like monkey business, devil wears Prada or their favorite flavor dark chocolate espresso.

Over the last nine months, Cake In A Cup has been made to order. The catering business has helped the women perfect their recipes for the new store.

Now that's a treat and this week's people, places and things. Cake In A Cup plans to open for business at the end of the month. Plan on spending $2.50 a cupcake.
