Two accidents happened last night in Monroe County.

The first accident last night was a fatal accident. Police are investigating a two-car fatal accident that happened on Mall Road near North Monroe. They say a seventeen year old girl turned onto Mall Road and collided with a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle, 47-year-old Hollis Hurst died.

The second accident that occurred on Douglas Road in Bedford Township. Michael Stewart of Lambertville was traveling southbound on Douglas Road when he tried to pass another vehicle and struck an oncoming van. He was air lifted to Toledo Hospital and is listed in serious condition. The driver of the van is listed in stable condition.
