Images of the movements were captured by U.S. satellites.
Investigators may have to look in other directions in the search for Neveah Buchanan. DNA evidence from the state crime lab does not link the missing 5-year-old to one of the main persons of interest. Investigators say George Kennedy did not have Neveah's blood on clothes found in his hotel room. Blood found on a multi-tool he owned did not come back as Navaeh's either. Kennedy is a registered sex offender and friend of the family. He's in Monroe County jail on a parole violation.
There is still no word this morning on the fate of the Chrysler and Fiat deal. A bankruptcy judge says he will rule by Monday on whether the automaker can sell most of the company to a group headed by Italy's Fiat. The judge heard 11 hours of testimony and arguments yesterday. It was the third day of hearings on the proposed deal. Chrysler says the deal is a big step toward its goal of a speedy exit from bankruptcy protection. One owner of Chrysler and GM dealerships says the auto industry will never be the same. If approved, it's likely that attorneys for 3 Indiana state pension and construction funds will appeal the decision and possibly force Chrysler to postpone closing the deal. Chrysler claims any delay could push Fiat to back out of the deal.
The General Motors stock fell to new lows yesterday, closing at 75 cents in trading. That's its lowest level since the Great Depression. Investors expect the auto giant to file for Chapter 11 next week. That would most likely wipe out the stock's remaining shareholder value. Dow Jones has also said it would remove GM from its industrial average if it files. As recently as 2007 GM stock was trading above $40 a share.
Ticket sales for Jet-America flights have soared since going on sale this past week. Just 48 hours after Jet-America's website opened up, ticket sales jumped up to 12,000. The most recent sales figures show that people who live within a 75 mile radius of Toledo Express Airport led the way with the most online reservations. This is in part because Jet-America has more flights in and out of Toledo Express. A Jet-America spokesperson predicts there will be 20,000 reservations by the end of the week.
