Get connected to the new start and end times for next school year

School's just getting out for the summer, but this fall, Oregon students face new schedules.

The superintendent tells us for years, various schools had different start and ending times. The Oregon school board approved adjustment of those times.

The superintendent says that'll cut transportation costs, because they'll need fewer buses to transport students and fewer buses in their fleet. This will save the district about $213,000.

The new schedules are as follows:

  • Clay High School, from 7:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
  • Eisenhower Middle School from 7:45 a.m. To 2:15 p.m.
  • Fassett Middle School from 8:25 a.m. To 2:55 p.m.
  • Coy Elementary from 8:35 a.m. To 2:50 p.m.
  • Starr Elementary from 8:35 a.m. To 2:50 p.m.
  • Jerusalem Elementary from 9:15 a.m. To 3:30 p.m.
  • Wynn Elementary from 9:15 a.m. To 3:30 p.m.
