A gunfight broke out at the Route 66 bar just before midnight last Thursday. Police released surveillance video from both inside and outside the bar.

According to the Toledo Blade, police say one of the suspects was trying to sell marijuana when a bar employee asked the man to leave. A fight then erupted. Within moments, most in the crowded bar ran for exits because some people were pulling out handguns.

All in all, police found more than a dozen shell casings in and out of the bar. There were anywhere from four to six shooters and somehow, nobody got hit.

Toledo police say they have identified some of the triggermen in the bar. Detectives say the suspects could be charged with felonious assault, carrying a concealed weapon, discharging a fire arm in the city, and weapons under disability.

We interviewed the brother of one of the cooks at the bar. He tells us his brother is one of the shooters and was protecting the bar from the men shooting outside.

The brother of the shooter under the pool table says the bouncer tried to kick several men out of the bar for selling weed. That's when his brother went into the kitchen and returned with a gun.

He says the men outside wanted to kill the bouncer and if his brother had not intervened, the bouncer might be dead.

We're told the cook shooting in the video has been in contact with police, but so far he has not been arrested.

The bar is located at 406 N. Westwood in Toledo. Suspects will be charged with felonious assault.
