Wilkowski and Bell go head-to-head tonight in a mayoral debate

Keith Wilkowski and Mike Bell go head-to-head in a mayoral debate at the University of Toledo.

The debate will be held at UT's Scott Park Campus Auditorium from 7 until 9 p.m. 13abc's Kristian Brown will serve as the moderator. Tonight's debate is being sponsored by the United Neighborhoods Residential Association.

The two candidates will focus on 4 critical areas: education, crime and safety, neighborhood stabilization, and economic development. They will be asked questions by 8 panelists from the community. Some of the panelists include John Jones, the executive director of the Greater Toledo Urban League and Dan Dawson, the president of the United Neighborhoods Residential Association.

Members of the audience will have a chance to ask questions as well. Today, Independent Mike Bell was out in the community shaking hands at the Church's Chicken restaurant. He told them if he's elected he will issue an executive order bringing back all laid-off police workers.

Also, don't forget to join 13abc for our own mayoral debate Tuesday, October 27 at Bowsher High School's auditorium at 7 p.m. The public is welcome to attend or you can catch the debate live on television.
