Police report says he refused a breathalyzer test

Another Toledo police officer is accused of being drunk while on duty!

A police report says on Saturday afternoon, another officer noticed Officer Donald Mitchell appeared drunk when he got out of his car at the Scott Park district station.

The other officer arrested Mitchell for OVI. Mitchell was taken to jail, but refused a breathalyzer test.

We're told he was hired in 1997. He's now suspended without pay.

You may remember, just last week we told you about another Toledo police officer allegedly being drunk on duty. James Breier was also suspended without pay.
