Man implied he was armed, got undetermined amount of cash

The Huntington Bank branch at 307 E. Beecher in the Adrian, MI, was robbed Monday around 3:45 p.m.

Police say a white male suspect entered the bank, implied that he was armed, and demanded money from the teller. He fled on foot with an as yet undetermined amount of cash.

There were no injuries as a result of the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium build. He had a short, sandy colored brush haircut, and was wearing a black baseball style hat with the number "97" on the front. He was described by witnesses as being approximately 35-40 years of age.

Witnesses described a suspicious vehicle in the area prior to the robbery. The vehicle is described as a gold Ford Taurus, possibly a station wagon, bearing an unknown Ohio registration. It is unknown if this vehicle was involved in the robbery, or if its presence was coincidental.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect, or any other information regarding this case should contact Detective Timothy Judkins at 517-264-4853.
