Red Cross needs donors for holiday blood drive

With the holidays officially here, the American Red Cross is giving you a unique opportunity to give thanks... by donating blood.

The Red Cross says supplies tend to dwindle during the holidays since so many people are busy with shopping and family gatherings.

So, they're asking for your help. "The Great Turkey Escape" blood drive continues Sunday, Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Toledo Blood Center at 3510 Executive Parkway.
