Bell, Wilkowski push in final weekend

Friday, October 30, 2009

One will be elected Toledo's mayor next Tuesday

It's the final weekend before Tuesday's general election. In the Toledo mayor's race, Mike Bell and Keith Wilkowski are rushing to the finish line.

For Wilkowski, the final weekend included an endorsement of his campaign. The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainsman now back him.

He was also talking about a new issue: high speed transit. He says building trains fits into his high-tech vision for Toledo.

Expect a big push of door knocking from Wilkowski this weekend as he works up to election day.

For Mike Bell, it's all about meeting people from here on out. He appeared on 13 abc's Bridges program today nd will host a radio show tonight.

But for Bell, this last weekend is about straight talk-- grabbing voters, telling him his mind and accepting their verdict.

If you're still considering which candidate has earned your vote, both men have their strategic plans on their websites. You can link to their sites here.
